The Messeneger of Allah (saw) said in hadith "Whosoever dies without a bay'ah(pledge of allegiance to the Khalifah) on his neck dies the death of Jahiliyah (ignorance)", reported by Imam Muslim. I think the hadith speaks for itself. Anyway, it is very rational that when one country is united it is stronger than when the same sountry is divided into different states. The most powerful nations on Earth: UNITED state of America, European UNION, China. Is the Khilafah an obligation in Islam?
