Ummah Watch

A digg like website exclusively for issues related to Islam/Muslims has been launched. http://www.ummahwatch.com/
There is something called muslimspace.com and then there is islamyoutube.com. I often wonder if sites like these further alienate Muslims from the rest of the world.

I don’t see why… does this site do that? It is just a specialist interest site, just like those on cars, and sports, and politics; but better, cos Muslims RULE. ;)

That muslimspace and islamyoutube certainly alienates Muslims. I mean why can’t we coexist with others. Had this to do with our psyche? or has this to do with Muslim ego?

Salaam ‘Alaikum

The constant fretting that we are alienating ourselves with relatively small time websites alienates me. How does having a Muslimspace mean we’re not “co-existing,” and does this special interest site chastising apply to Muslims only, or are we going to say the same about JewGotIt and Koolanoo too?

Bah. Too much sugar.
