For the Sake of Allah

Islam Heals (what a lovely title for a blog, mashallah) discusses the oft-repeated phrase: “For the sake/pleasure of Allah”.

Good deeds are done by the muslim for a greater cause, beyond the materialistic gains, but something which is conceptual.
Any human being can eat, procreate and chase the countless high’s, but how many can base their lives on a concept of goodness for the sake of Truth.
This would be an individual who has surpassed themselves and their limitations and have entered a special realm which is so real and true though it cannot be grasped by the physical human senses, instead it is the sincere heart which can see and understand this particular reality.
