A day in the life of a young muslim wife

This is a sweet poem/story, written from the perspective of a young, muslim housewife.

“Wake up my dear, it’s time for prayers
He whispers and nudges me gently
There is some kind of magic in the way he says it
That it makes me wake up, alert and conscious

I’m not sure whether it is real-life, or fictional. Either way, it’s a nice tribute to the simple pleasures of married life. May Allah bless our homes.

  1. Assalam Alaykum.

Thank you very much for publishing my poem on your website. In the above introduction you mentioned you din’t know if it’s factual or fictional. I would like to inform that my blog will be of fictional stories. InshaAllah, I plan to write many more as and when time permits.

May Allah Taala bless you for your good work.

    JazakkaAllah.

    Alefyah.
