SubhanAllah … I only got a chance to watch this video today. This is so similar to many experiences in my life. While most of the major airports I travel through have prayer areas, I often don’t have time to go to them, since they are in different terminals or outside the gate area. So I just pray in whatever corner I can find. On one occasion, I could feel someone hovering above me while I was in sajdah, which made me a little nervous. Then all of a sudden, I felt the draft of the person laying out his prayer mat next to me, and he joined me in sajdah.
What I love about the Ottawa and Montreal airports, it seems like most of the security guards are Muslim, masha-Allah.
I submitted this video to CAIR. It has been a blessed experience to create it with the help of my family, some old friends and some new friends.I had not posted it myself on You Tube.It has been so very encouraging to see such heartfelt responses by it.
To the post by Faraz, thank you for sharing your personal experiences traveling in airports.I hold in highest regard when a humble Muslim worships Allah in such obedience , even in the face of the ignorance of the west. A kinder world is waiting through shared conversation and prayer.
Subhanallah! I nearly cried! LOVE IT.
