When i read the news about this, i was so sickened. I know my feelings don’t matter, but my thoughts were the same as Mohammed’s, when he asked “can’t they give us one happy day?”. You just want to go to Iraq and kick some major ass… i know that sounds immature - but it angers you so much. Who are these idiots? I can’t believe that the people who were responsible for today’s bombings had any love for their country, people, religion, or anything good. Sick, twisted and absolute mentalists, that’s what they are - whoever they are.
I’ll add a dua, so it’s not just all good for nothing hot air:
May Allah grant peace, security and justice to all the lands - not only the ones where Muslims reside. May He guide us back to the straight path, and help us to return justice and mercy to the Ummah of Muhammad, sallalahu ‘alayhi wa salam. The kind of justice and mercy that this Ummah was loved for in the past, and the kind that this present world lacks so terribly. Verily Allah loves justice and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. Ameen.
I saw that footage last night when I came home followed by the news. I’m not embarrassed to say this; I can’t really remember last time I carried that much on what happened yesterday. Even now, it’s too emotional to talk about.
