An Appeal for Ramadan Appeals
I thought i’d set this entry up to call on readers to advertise any special Ramadan appeals they are aware of, that other readers may be able to help out on. So far, i have heard of the following two - please add your own to the comments section:
Ramadan Bags 2007 - Feeding The Needy
The concept is basically an initiative to aid the poor & needy families of Egypt to feed themselves during the Holy month of Ramadan while preserving their dignity by allowing them to eat within their own homes & in a family atmosphere. Each food bag feeds a family of 4 for a week & costs the same if not less than what the average person spends during a single lunch hour in the UK……….. £5!

Human Concern International, a Canadian-based Muslim charity and relief organization, has started their Ramadhan campaign at their website (http://www.humanconcern.org/)
I know HCI very well and masha-Allah, they do great work.
What we don’t want is poor muslims eating; we want them dying. The muslim world has a habit of overbreading. Now, while this is an OK situation now with all the oil money Dar-al-Islam has; when the oil runs out considering that the muslim world only produces two things (oil and fanatical religions) we’ll have hundreds of millions of people who have no source of income to keep them alive and the west will be guilted in to taking them in and supporting them on the dole.
But, if they die off now in large droves that won’t be a problem.

Darfur is marked by Muslims killing (some) muslims but mostly animists and Christians. So I support giving the victims food, medical suppllies and weapons to fight the muslims. And I support tying 10 muslim families to artillery pieces and firing them off for every non-muslim killed in Darfur.
