Remember 9/12: Unite against Giuliani!
The US Elections are approaching, and the good people at MuslimMatters want us all to unite against Rudolph Giuliani’s presidential bid.
This is a campaign to bring all Americans together, liberals and conservatives towards a common cause: keeping, what Tom Hayden calls, the most dangerous candidate, out of the White House! If you don’t like George Bush’s policies, then you should know that Giuliani is far more of a threat to world peace than Bush ever was.
American politics undoubtedly affects all of us, no matter how far we are removed from them geographically. Giuliani wants us only to remember 9/11 as a basis for maintaining the current neo-conservative stranglehold upon American policy. The rest of the world, as well as most Americans themselves, want the United States to move forward, focus on 9/12 and beyond, and restore this once proud nation to respectability.
