Patience, the mother of all virtues Posted on January 10, 2008 by Xaalen In my view, patience and humility are the two most important traits that Quran emphasizes upon. In some ways, patience and humility are dependent on each other. Taqwa (fear and love of Allah, fear to abstain from evil deeds and love to good deeds) is definitely that most important quality to develop for a believer; however, patience is the foundation of taqwa and eeman. Because, unless we have patience, how are we going to believe in the unseen, and bear adversities for rewards in the Hereafter.
