Why some Christians can’t embrace Islam

Daughter of Guidance Amy explains why some Christians may be reluctant to embrace Islam.

But after talking to a number of women who have converted to Islam, I see that this belief of Christians, ingrained since birth, holds many back for a while before they overcome it.

Some of them can even logically refute it–but why does it hold such sway, such influence that it prevents them from embracing Islam? How does someone hold the idea that Muhammad is a Messenger of Allah (saws) and still believe that Jesus is their savior?

  1. Assalamu-alaikum…I have the same problem when speaking to colleagues about Islam, they accept islam as the truth and muhammed as the messenger of Allah, but they do not want to verbalize this and make shahadaa. I wish someone out there has some good advice for such people and me as well.
