The situation we face nowadays leaves us with very little choice but to buckle up, improve ourselves and make the changes. And I agree with all the solutions you proposed particularly the Help Thyself solution. It all start within us.The easiest change to make is to change our own perspectives and the way we handle our own lives. InshaAllaah, trust Allaah then after making the efforts. I wrote a motivational story in June last year (2007) on my blog called 'The Story of the Dog Called Faith'. It is about embracing our limitations and accepting the adversity in our life gracefully and then turn it into something wonderful.
