Ten Points to Islamic Revival
Shaukani at Ahl al-Hadith highlights the ten points that anyone who wishes to invite people to Islam should adhere to, as written by Shaikh Abul Hasan ali Nadwi rahmatullahi’alayh.
The people of da’wah should promote the urge for making sacrifices for the sake of Islam, of laying down one’s life in the way of Allah (swt) [by being selfless and working for the common good]. In this manner, da’wah can guide people groping in the darkness of hopelessness to the light of Islam’s message of hope and Divine assistance. Da’wah can cause degenerating and decaying societies to give birth to men and women who are honest and courageous, capable of shouldering the heaviest responsibility, and working to solve the intricate problems facing the Muslim society by living Islam and realizing its interests.
