There is no such thing as a holy book! There are only books written by people who have their own motives, and they should all be treated as such. Also, those who decide to take the route of 'Islam is a peaceful religion' only need to take a look at how these people react when they see something they don't like. They call for beheadings, war, kidnapping, and all sorts of other awful things in the name of protecting their 'peaceful' religion. There are crazy and ridiculous things in most 'holy' books, calling for all kinds of violence to nonbelievers, Islam isn't the only one. It's just unfortunate that not everybody has the same respect for human life. Religion is the only thing that can make an otherwise thoughtful and rational person a crazy and irrational criminal - if I had my way I'd get rid of all of them. Believing in anything without proper proof is a waste of time, and if somebody thinks that I should be thrown in the fire for that, I feel sincerely sorry for them. For goodness sakes, people…
