…the face-veil (niqaab) is another story. Perhaps the reason why there are feelings of negativity and scary looks is because others feel threatened. But of what? A simple piece of fabric drawn across one’s face? Unfortunately, it symbolizes much more; fear, oppression, prejudice, stereotypes etc.
