Sooooo…..how is everyone!?
To any new readers…erm…reading this or looking at this section of the site, I show the world of arty stuff. Yeah I know that sentence was lame but I’m sleepy and its late.
Anyways….this week I’m going to continue my theme of Arabic Calligraphers. This week I have chosen, Naciye Subasi.
Many of you might have heard of her, while some of wont. I will always remember her as the lady that beat me in an art competition. I have no hard feelings but I would have got away it, if it wasn’t for her great skill!!!
Naciye Subasi attempts to carry the Ottoman style of Turkish Illumination and Decorative Arts to the present day and reinterprets this classical style through her own original understanding and creativity.
