As-Salamu Alaikum dear readers
As you have noticed, IJTEMA has been silent for the past half year or so. However, as promised, we had been working behind the scene on our next service. It derives from the same IJTEMA philosophy- sharing good content.
In preparation for the forthcoming launch of our latest service, we launched a new Facebook page, and Twitter stream.
To find out more, please stay tuned on Facebook and Twitter. If enough of you join the fan page on Facebook, we can register for a decent shortcut (i.e., facebook.com/ijtema). So please become a fan NOW!
We shall make the final announcements very soon, inshaAllah.
Please remember IJTEMA and the whole Ummah in your Du’a in this blessed month.
Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah
I just created a new group on Facebook, especially for Ijtema.net. Now you have one more way to tip us off about your blog, or blog entry. Please join asap, and invite all your Facebook friends!

Assalamu ‘alaykum dear readers,
Just a short notice to encourage all Muslim bloggers on Facebook to join the group… Muslim Bloggers!
Inshallah, we hope to do great things with the group, for the sake of Allah, but we need more people involved. So once you’ve signed up, please invite your Facebook blogging friends to join. Feel free to also invite your readers, via an entry on your blog, with a link to the group:
Jazakallah khair for your help and attention.
Just a quick note to request that you please help us spread the word about I J T E M A, by linking to us via your blog rolls and links sections. We also have some buttons available to embed on your site, on the Link To Us page. Jazakallah for your help, in advance!
I recently returned from a trip to Moldova in Eastern Europe. Before traveling there I had done some basic research about the country and came across a few articles about the situation of the Muslims there. I read that they were facing serious problems due to the government not allowing them to register Islam as a religion and therefore not granting them the freedom to practise their religion. An article by the Islamic Human Rights Commission summarises this.

Only £4000 is required for this appeal to be successful; an easy amount for us to raise, with the help of Allah.
This is to announce a project that has taken off to organise Muslims online for a Cause, which is, needless to say, Islam. Here is the overview. Thanks are due to Baraka.
