Second general meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami

This is the second general gathering of the Jamaat-e-Islami. This second gathering will be held on 2, 3, 4 Jamadi-ul-Awwal (corresponding to 6, 7, 8 April) at Mohalla Harowara, connected to the city of Allahabad.

1- It is obligatory for members of the Jamaat to participate in the gathering, unless a valid religious excuse prevents attendance. If possible, in case of an excuse, an apology should be sent to the centre before the gathering. Otherwise, after the gathering reasons for non-attendance must be reported. (Participation is not obligatory for women.)

2- Members intending to attend the gathering and sympathisers, and women who wish to attend, should send notice of their intention by 20 March to Hakim Muhammad Khalid Imam, Mohalla Harowara, Kiya Begum, Malabad.

Those gentlemen and women who wish to join the Jamaat’s caravan from Lahore should send their intention to the centre by 20 March and pay the fare.

Detailed instructions for preparing reports to be presented at the gathering are being published continuously in Ikhtiyar-e-Kausar Lahore. These must be taken into account.

3- Members who wish to present proposals or ask questions regarding the Jamaat’s organisation or work, should send their proposals and questions to the centre by 20 March.

4- Members must reach Allahabad by the morning of 4 April, and members of the Majlis-e-Shura by the evening of 3 April.
