"Ijtema: Dialogue on Provincial Issues & Resolutions"

On the third day of the All Pakistan Ijtema, the second session titled “Discussion on Provincial and Regional Issues & Resolutions” brought together leaders from all provinces and key regions of Pakistan. Each representative highlighted the persistent issues of their areas—including education, lawlessness, insecurity, corruption, agricultural decline, and governance failures—and presented comprehensive resolutions.

Mumtaz Hussain Sehto, Deputy Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, served as the stage secretary for this important session.

From Sindh, Kashif Saeed Sheikh, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh, addressed the deep-rooted problems of poverty, education, insecurity, agricultural stagnation and governance failures, and presented the provincial resolution.

From Northern Punjab, Dr. Tariq Saleem, Ameer JI Punjab North, elaborated on the region’s long-standing issues such as poor governance, education challenges, corruption, and economic stagnation.

From South Punjab, Syed Zeeshan Akhtar, Ameer JI Punjab South, spoke on the chronic problems of education, insecurity, corruption, lawlessness and agriculture affecting the region, and presented the respective resolution.

From KP Central, Abdul Wasi, Ameer JI KP Central, highlighted the growing insecurity, education crisis, corruption, and agricultural setbacks, and presented the regional resolution.

From Lahore Region, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, Ameer JI Lahore, discussed the city's key issues including education, agriculture, corruption, and governance problems, and presented the Lahore resolution.

From KP North, Inayatullah Khan, Ameer JI KP North, presented the resolution focused on education challenges, insecurity, corruption and administrative disorder.

From Balochistan, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch, Ameer JI Balochistan, outlined the province’s severe issues—poor education, lawlessness, insecurity, agricultural failures, corruption—and presented the Balochistan resolution.

From Hazara Region, Abdul Razzaq Abbasi, Ameer JI Hazara, highlighted challenges in education, agriculture, corruption and governance, presenting the regional resolution.

From Central Punjab, Muhammad Javed Qasoori, Ameer JI Punjab Central, addressed the region’s problems regarding agriculture, corruption, lawlessness and education and submitted the official resolution.

From Azad Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq Khan, Ameer JI AJK, spoke about long-standing regional challenges and presented the AJK resolution.

Together, these presentations outlined a comprehensive picture of Pakistan’s provincial and regional crises, along with proposed roadmaps for reform.
